Default Unknown North'd Fus TF/TA Cap . . . Collar?

I know I've asked about these badges before . . . please don't tell me off - be kind . . .

1. Northumberland Fusiliers grenade with 19 point flames, right-facing horse and 'South Africa' scroll. Similar to Wood 237 collar, BUT with gilt grenade and silver (/plate) St George - motto strap instead of all bronze metal. Maker's mark 'JR GAUNT LONDON'. No mention of this badge in Wood. Could it be unofficial, private purchase?

2. T/8/Grenade/NF one piece shoulder title. I understand there was a short-lived NF 8th. Territorial Battalion c.1908 before they became the Northern Cyclists. No mention of this S/T in Wood.

3. INF shoulder title. Seen a few of these around. Who wore them, and were they worn with other bits?

Any help, suggestions appreciated. These badges have been bugging me for ages.

Kind regards - Lawrence

Hi Lawrence,
The INF is most likely an Australian shoulder title, worn with a number above and AUSTRALIA below.
Cheers, John

Thanks, John. I suspected that. Didn't Canadian troops also wear the 'INF' s/t?

Anyway, no joy on items 1 and 2. I'll try again in a few months . . . you never know.

Cheers - Lawrence

Hi Lawrence,
That's a question for the Canadian collectors.
I like the other badges you have shown, very nice.
Cheers, John
