WW1 era UOTC with Light Infantry cap badge?
I would be most grateful if anyone can advise which University OTCs - if any - wore a Light Infantry 'bugle' cap badge, during WW1 and interwar years.
Any information appreciated! |

I understand that Durham did not use DLI-type badge, as considered part of Northumberland UOTC. Do you know by any chance know if this is correct? |

1. Oxford OTC in the Senior Division as mentioned
2. Ellesmere College in the Junior Division used a KSLI style design. 3. Durham College wore the 6th Bn DLI bugle in blackened brass. 4. Cheltenham OTC has a bugle in the design with OTC inset.. 5. Merchant Taylors Great Crosby wore the 6th Kings bugle with a rose over it. |

The bugle in the image looks like an Ox and Bucks style bugle horn. The would fit with Oxford UOTC.
