Arab insignia identification
Would anyone be able to identify the three badges I have. All of them were found in Israel which normally means they are from one of the neighbouring countries but I'm not sure with these.
1. Epaulet badge is possible a gulf state 2. Came with other Jordanian pieces, but not sure if it is. 3. Possibly a pair of Syrian artillery arm of service collar pin, very similar to the army type. Thanks, Steve. |

The metal shoulder title on the left is the Aden Federal National Guard (FNG).
In 1959 the Tribal Guards and Government Guards were renamed as the Federal National Guard as the country was renamed the Federation of the Amirates of the South. They were a sort of armed gendarmerie. The Tribal Guards were FNG2 and the other FNG1. Quicksilver Quote:

Just remembered I have illustrations of all the current Syrian collars which have been in use for many years. This third badge is not a Syrian artillery badge currently worn or any other corps. It may be an old one, but I don't know. Attached is the current one.
