Default Military Police

A local find yesterday, a cap badge I have never owned, even as a boy when I originally collected badges.
A pleasing and fine very thin strike in nice orangey coloured gm with a slightly tapered slider rather like a GMGR.
I think from 1914 there was direct entry into either branch, prior to that, it had been volunteers with four years exemplary service within their own regiments/corps.

Well, it was just opportunistic really, not something I would normally do.
