What is the diameter? An average of six examples of the formation sign in my collection is 72mm diameter. Mike

Hi Gary,
I have owned my fair share of Chindit patches and this one looks spot on to me. A lovely officers quality patch. I have rarely seen two the same so this one with it's velvet look is unique in that regards. A lovely locally made example in my humble opinion. Well done. Cheerio, Roy

Many thanks for your comments Roy ... must say it made my morning when I spotted it on a table of bits and pieces...

Indeed it was just on the local car boot and the table had already had a good picking over .. just lucky no one else fancied the funny looking lion badge
First good spot for a long while. Gary |

Thanks Frank ... I seem to remember the people who were standing often have a few military bits and pieces .. just lucky no one recognized it.
Would it have been for a No1 uniform rather than a BD ? |

Just to follow up , it original and fine - you can also see where the press studs have been removed on the rear.
