RFC shoulder-strap loop
The attached photo shows an RFC uniform in wear. What is interesting is the (coloured?) loop worn on the shoulder-strap. Reminds me of my RAF trade training days at St Athan when all the different trades/branches wore distinguishing coloured loops on our BD blouses. Wondering if the RFC employed this system too. Would like to hear additional comments from anyone who would know differently

I don't know about the RFC loop, but I remember having an RAF poster back in the Sixties that showed all the different coloured loops (or lanyards) worn by RAF Apprentices.

Thanks David. Actually, these were coloured slip-ons. I recall mine being green for MT.
