RAF officers dress belt
Hi All
I picked this up yesterday, very nice condition. Can anyone tell me about when these were worn, the dates etc, or any other info? Also, I don't usually ask this, but can anyone give an idea of the value, purely for inerest sake? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Alex |

It is an RAF Junior Officers sword belt and would only be worn when swords are carried i.e formal parades. The one you have is the Kings Crown version but the same pattern is still worn today with a Queens Crown buckle. Afraid I can't help on value. Dave |

Sword Belt
Hello Alex,
Just to add a little more, the belt was introduced in 1921 for use with the Full Dress uniform. See http://www.britairforce.com/imagepag...full_dress.htm |
