Default WWII PERIOD RAMC AIRBORNE BULLION BADGE

Hi Guys
I was at a market yesterday mid morning and was given a bundle of bits to buy by a frend who just said there not mine and my mate wants £30 for the bag and bits I just had a quick gander ie opend the bag to see a WWII beret inside and small bag of cloth and paid him on the way home i stopped for a coffee at a service station and decided to look through the bag of bits and found this little beasty nothing easle was airborne related done some comparison pics with capt grants RA badge and a maroon beret well hapy steve
PS He's name was T P HOWKINS RAMC he was a pow during WWII any more info would be welcome the bits I will keep the bits for now !!!

Warrant for Pay and Promotion, 1940:—
T. P. Howkins (51295) to 20th July 1938,
but not to carry pay and allces. prior to 20th
July 1939.
REGULAR ARMY RESERVE OF OFFICERS.
Capt. (Hon. Maj.) T. P. HOWKINS, MJl.C.S.,
L.R.C.P., D.P.H. (511295), ceases to belong to the
Reg. Army Res. of Qffrs., 20th July 1956, retaining
the hon. rank of Maj.

Default WW11 Period RAMC Airborne Bullion Badge

Major T P Howkins was a POW in Oflag 7B. POW number 4297. Not as far as I can see an Arnhem POW.
