Interesting: according to Bosleys Jan 2019 sale the very same shoulder title was described as follows:

Lot 597 D.G.S. J.T.Corps (Dartford Grammar School) cloth shoulder title circa 1940-48. Sold for £15.

It's also shown in Rawlings as a Dartford-related cloth title (Rawlings #570). I'd guess the Dover Grammar School isn't therefore a correct description.

But as we all know, certain publications can be prone to error. So who's right ??

The Army List 1949 shows that "Dartford Grammar School" had a "Junior Training Corps" , no mention of "Dover Grammar School" having one but "Dover College" did.

Apologies, it is not described at all in the auction. Dover was my guess!
