small prince of wales feathers in 'silver' collars
any thoughts on who these were for, they are very small, thanks? They appear to be silver or silver plated.

Probably worn by senior officers in one of the Welsh police forces.

I think it's 2nd Prince of Wales Volunteer Battalion Devonshire Regiment.
It's in Churchill's book which I haven't got to hand. Chris |

Thank you, it looks a good match and to be honest a better outcome than police for me.

...the Gilt wash/enamel can be attributed to the DHY
Brass version. ....also. The DHY had two small silver collars on the Officers Mess Kit and they fit the pattern although we can not be 100% until we (ever) see a DHY Mess Kit with them in a photo or in a collection or for sale.
