Default ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT....I HOPE

Hi all

I need the team to give me a look at this one. As my title say's, I hope it is a case of all good things come to those who wait.

Picked this up of Ebay based on a very picture on the listing. Took a chance after the seller said it was brass or maybe bronze.

What's the consensus on this Cameronian TF candiidate

Cheers

Simon.

It's not Territorial, if it's brass then it's probably an early regulars blackened glengarry badge.

Hi Simon,
I like your badge. I have a similar one with lugs, also not blackened, which I believe was worn by officers.
Cheers, Tinto

Cool Brass Cameronians

As Keith says it is a Victorian OR's cap badge which has had the bronzing polished off.

Ah well, not a TF but not bad for a tenner. I'll just have to keep an eye out for the elusive 5th.

Thanks all for the clarification.

Many regards

Simon.

The 5th TF badge is quite small, in nickel with a 5 towards the centre bottom. It's a very distinctive badge.

Cheers

Simon.
