Smile 49 A. M. P. C. help.

I wonder if anyone can help me my grandfather was No 8 Section, No 5 Company, No 4 A. M. P. C. stationed at Butlins Camp, Clacton on Sea, before he was transferred to No 49 Company on 10th December 1939, which was part of No 6 Group in the British Expeditionary Force in France. I have looked long and hard and it seems imposable to find out any information about 49 Company where they were in France before Dunkirk. Has anyone any ideas.
