Default RAF Special Forces Parachutist Wing

Whilst researching an article for The Formation Sign I found this badge in the online version of Air Publication 1358 The RAF's Dress and Insignia Regulations.

I'm no RAF expert but I have not seen this badge before. Can anyone add any details please?

Jon

Is that not the SF Signals Squadron wing? Not sure it's RAF is it?

As the picture came straight out of the RAF's Air Publication AP 1358 I'm assuming they know what they wear - although it could be the same pattern of wing.

Actually we're both right - its an SF communicator's wing, comes in three backing colours for the three services. Eddie

Introduced in 2009-2010 for all qualified SF Communicators in the three services.
