Default RAF pilot wing for comments

Hello all. A new acquisition here. My thoughts on this pilot wing is from the 1930's for warm weather wear. The backing plate was custom made for the wing for easy removal. The quality of the silk stitching in the feathers is superb. I welcome any comments.

It's certainly handmade (the uneven letters and shoulders being two giveaways). Personally I think it's a WW2 theatre made wing.

I concur... and very nice quality for a theatre-made piece too.

Andy.
