Default Daytona Beach Florida 1930’s Police Badge

Two badge Related to Daytona Beach Florida one from late 1930’s to Daytona itself and the other to Ormond Beach the other end of the famous beech believed to be circa 1970’s.

I bought them together in an Antique emporium last year.

The Daytona badge number 15 is in US police shields quite old, darting from the late 1930’s see images attached of badge number 14 being worn in 1937.

It is nicely maker marked to the rear I have contacted the Department in the hope of finding more information they were helpful and provided a couple of modern patches but no further information.

The image of Officer Willie R Denson sadly was Killed Shot whilst on duty Friday April 30th 1937 further information in the images it appears that Willie is wearing badge number 14 of the same design.

Interesting in both the police collecting field and Motorcycles enthusiasts.

Regards

Stephen
