It appears correct but as you say has been badly repaired. This was the standard ORs badge worn in the Brodrick 1903-05 and from 1905 onwards in the peaked cap.
It continued to be worn by the senior sqns of the 13/18th Hussars up to the late 1920s. Last edited by Alan O; 18-04-17 at 02:42 PM.
