The anodised POW feathers with a brass lug is a collar badge worn by the Lancashire Regiment (PWV) 1958-1970 and possibly as a cap badge 1968-1970.

Default Welsh/Welch

Thanks. Are all the badges authentic? Would the 'Welsh' button belong to an officer?

All look good except possibly the welch cap badge which is probably ok.

The button appears to be victorian and is for officers on dress or service dress but can also be worn by other ranks

Phil,
The button is a late Victorian Officers’ pattern button, the earlier pattern being spelt Welch . That type of construction was not worn by other ranks.

Default Welch buttons

Do these 3 Welch buttons pre-date the Welsh button above?

Whilst I can’t give you the definitive answer I can tell you that when the 41st Foot were granted the title Welch in 1831 it was with the “C” spelling. It is this form of spelling which can be found on the earlier uniform accoutrements such as waist belt clasps. The latest buttons you show are the 1881 pattern buttons and could have been worn by either of the amalgamated battalions, or quite possibly by one of the Volunteer Battalions, such as the 2nd who used this form of spelling on at least one variant of their helmet plates.
