J R Gaunt
An Interesting image in your album....
http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...ictureid=38534 This seems to ring a very distant bell! - do you have anything else on this mark? John |

John,
Odd you should mention this because very recently I happened across a document at the NA relating to it. I have had the badge for some time but had never really given it much thought. Give me a day or two and I'll try and track down the material I have. Cheers, Peter |

J.R.Gaunt Berlin?
Hello Peter
I too would be most interested to see more about this please. I know J. R. Gaunt & Son did have outlets/branches in Montreal and New York for a time, but I don’t recall coming across anything to do with Berlin before! It would be really good of you if you could share your findings with the rest of us, and I very much look forward to seeing more on this in due course. Best regards Martin

J.R.Gaunt New York
Their Montreal MM example is in the MM section, here's a New York marked badge which I picked up during the week! It'll be very interesting to see what Peter turns up about the Berlin mark as the Motreal and NY are probably "Private Purchase" items. Strange to see an anodised badge marked in such a way!
