Default DENBIGHSHIRE HUSSARS IMPERIAL YEOMANRY

Latest RPC added to my (small) collection.

Image of a corporal in the DHIY (probably taken 1906-1908) taken at either Blackpool or Liverpool.

Scanned up badge/buttons/shoulder title (for you know who !!)

J

could you scan at 600dpi and email it to me?

I am pretty sure its this cap badge with the scrolls dinged/pushed upwards.

Hello Jonathan,

Cracking pictures, many thanks for posting.
Always enjoy seeing period photos, especially when the shoulder title can be seen!!

On the subject of Denbighshire Hussars, I posted a while back now about a pair of DH titles that had the IY removed.
Whether done "in period" and used as an unoffical item of insignia or later to create a fantasy item will probably never be certain of.

If you would like one of them, just pm me mate.

Personally, I am happy to have one in my set, albeit with a question mark, as there are only 6-7 DH titles I am aware of plus regarding Yeomanry titles there are many oddities that exist.

Have a great bank holiday weekend.
Pat

Hope I'm ok to tag on to this thread only I've had a badge for a while which I was unsure of. It appears to be silver, although not hallmarked. I'm wondering if it could be associated to the one in this thread?
Here's a link to my album with photo of badge's front and rear:

Many thanks in anticipation of any suggestions.

Kevin
