Default Stolen Badges

Hello South African collectors

I am hoping you guys can help with something please. I have just received a small parcel of badges from the UK to find that they have all been stolen! This is the first time that is has happened so I am pretty upset. The parcel sat in Jo'burg for 5-6 weeks before being forwarded to Durban, so I expect they were stolen from there.

There was a Devon & dorset regiment officer's badge on lugs; a King's Regiment officer's badge on lugs (Fluer du Lys in gilt superimposed with a rampant horse in silver plate); and an officer's glengarry badge of the Royal Scots Fusiliers (flaming grenade with the royal coat of arms overlaid on the ball), all in gilt.

If these cross your path, could you let me know, and if possible, could you pass the word around for other collectors to keep an eye open?

Thanks and regards,

Alex

Sorry about this Alex, also lost medals via SA Post Office in JHB but that was to a local address. A world wide phenomena unfortunately. Heard a good way to stop this is to actually double back and tape the items to the inside of the internal parcel.
