Royal Artillery cap badge with Tartan.
Hello, I have just received this RA cap badge with a tartan backing but I am unaware which Unit would wear this ( if at all) It is of Officer quality I believe.
Can a RA buff or member id this please? engr9266

Jerry,
The only two RA units I know of would be the 105 Regiment who wear a standard RA beret badge on a Hunting Ross tartan backing. The other, the 204 Tyneside Battery, who unofficially wear the old Tyneside Highlander badge (bought privately so a fake is not uncommon being worn by them). I am not aware of the 204 Tyneside wearing any tartan behind the badge, but it is worn with a red hackle. 204 Tyneside Scottish Battery RA2 2b.jpg I understand, there may be others that I am just not aware of.
