Hi billy, nice gift. It is a shoulder title for the CAMC 1st Field Ambulance, Canadian Expeditionary Force. First World War.

Hi Bill found it in my book “Military Badges of the British Empire 1914-18”

Doesn’t say much, actually nothing about it! Is this a scarce badge or common-ish?

Thanks for your help, billy

There is a veteran buried in my small town cemetery who earned a Military Medal while serving as a stretcher bearer with the 1st Field Ambulance. Very nice gift!

Hi billy, the title is best described as uncommon. It is seen, but not frequently.
