Airborne RE insignia

Does anyone insignia would airborne Royal Engineers have worn on battledress in Northwest Europe in 1944-45? Would it be standard RE shoulder titles or specialized ones? Would the "Airborne" and "Pegasus" formation signs be worn below them? And was there any RE insignia worn on the jump smocks?

The unofficial red on blue shoulder title was worn in 1942 and 1943, after that the official blue on red Royal Engineers title was worn.
The Pegasus formation sign and airborne arm of service strip were worn below it, though the aos is often found missing.
On the Denison smock sappers only wore rank insignia and qualification wings.

You can buy a very obvious repro of the red on blue unofficial title at the Airborne museum in Oosterbeek -- or at least you could about 10 years ago, when I visited. Great museum, though, located in the former Hartstein Hotel. I couldn't resist getting one as a souvenir.

Ok, how about R.E.s who landed via gliders on D-Day and Market Garden? Did they wear wings as well or glider formation signs?

RE shoulder titles, Pegasus formation sign, airborne arms of service strip and glider trained infantry patch. If a member happened to be parachute trained he wore the light bulb patch.
