Default Cyprus Military Medical badge ideas

The current British Forces Cyprus Medical Group is looking to be granted a new unit shoulder badge with the recent move in Cyprus for all three services to wear desert combat 95 uniform.

Does anyone have knowledge of historical military medical badges that we could base this new badge upon?

Here is a modern Cyprus badge which could be changed to reflect the medical background.

Change the colours to the RAMC, keeping the Island and change the letters to BFCMG.

Default BFCMG

RAMC Colours would be inappropriate if all three Service are represented. Keep it simple - tri-service colours with traditional medical symbol - as per RAMC cap badge etc - and BFCMG superimposed. The outline map is very overused and in any case looks a bit like a badly fried egg.

Here's my version, also based on Mike's keep it simple principle. White border, white/orange/gold rod and serpent and green lettering colors based on the flag of Cyprus. Better than the outline.

No1 gets my vote. It defines the organisation perfectly. When it is approved and made, I would like to have one!
