Colin,
My H W TIMINGS Para Regt badge has an anodised slider NOT metal. The only Para Regt badge I have with a metal slider is GROVE MFG.

Hi Bess,
Thanks for the information on the Parachute Regt badge. Hopefully I have managed to discover all the a/a badges with metal sliders & makers marks for Chris's book.
Thanks for everybody's help.

Regards
Colin

Hi Colin,

Please peer review the PDF section on this area in Chapter 7 - Vertical Shanks that I sent you last week and tell me if it reconciles or not with what you know on these non A/A sliders.

Regards

Chris

I know this is an old thread but how about a REME on a metal slider marked Gaunt B'ham, perhaps this is relatively common but I could not find it on the forum.

Very nice Leigh, thanks for showing your pair.

I think the Gaunt London is the more common of the two.
