Mystery cap

Hi

Does anyone know what this blue cap is? It is a medium blue shade similar to those worn by Police and Fire Service but unlike Police it has a cloth peak. It's not RNZAF as the second photo shows (when put next to an RNZAF warrant officer cap). The blue is not the right colour to be Air Force.

I'm wondering whether this is perhaps an airline or AvSec cap?

Looks very similar to those worn by NZ Rail 1960 - 1980, I remember a 2nd hand shop (Crazy Rics) in Wellington had a couple of boxes of unissued NZR hats in the late 1980s that the sold for a $1 each, I am pretty sure they were made by Hills hats.
Is there any makers stamp to the inside?
Any logo on the buttons?

It has plain black buttons. The label inside says "Westminster by Treister"

Crazy Rics Corner. What a great old shop that was. I was back in welly a couple of weeks ago and the site is now a café.
