Post New Canadian Member - Hi Everyone!

I am a retired Canadian Police Officer and have decided it was time to get with the times join this great forum!

Already I have replies from members kindly taking the time to answer a question on one of my restrike badges! Thank You !

I have been an active collector of all sorts of vintage police items - Imperial German pickelhauben and pre 1914 British Officers headdress and uniforms since the mid 1970's. (remember those days when collecting wasn't a big on line money making business but just a fun hobby !)

Over the last 40 years I had been a member of the major Police Collecting Clubs (PICA GB - PICAA - CPICA) and Military Collectors Clubs in Canada and the US.

I have now narrowed down my collecting focus to British Officer's home service helmets and their uniforms. These days I am trying to do a thinning out of my Police and Militaria collections.

I look forward to my involvement with the members of the forum who have such great expertise in this rewarding hobby.

Best Regards To All - ... Bruce

Welcome Bruce and hope you enjoy being here.

All the best, Roy.

Welcome Bruce. I'm a retired Irish cavalryman so we've at least got the retirement part in common.
