Queens own Mercian yeomanry
Added a couple of photo's in my album and gallery -officers beret badges
The larger one on the left is from an ebay seller who sells modern items which are usually o.k Is this a manufactures variation or made for the collectors market ???? I'm quite happy with the right one -the smaller example as this appears to have been R F U Any thoughts on these David

They are still in production (licensed from the MOD) for the collectors' market - as is the OR anodised cap badge (you can pick one up for £5-6 online, but they are popping up in auction catalogues with estimates of £15). Yes, they are very slightly larger.
The Mercian Eagle in the middle is rather more coarse than the tailors' ones worn in the regiment. I have the beret of one of the Honorary Colonels, but not readily accessible to photograph.
