Mystery Customs "S" button
Good evening
I recently bought a large collection of worldwide Customs and Excise buttons and I’m starting to address the several buttons which are not immediately identifiable so welcome any comments or suggestions as to which country may have used it: It is WM, 23.3mm, marked “Special Quality” on the reverse. The “S” is a big clue, plus it was placed between SARawak and SOUth Africa on the display board. Of the countries falling into that group only 3 list “English” as an official language (Seychelles, Sierra Leone, and Solomon Islands). Only Seychelles fits the “S”, as I would expect the others to be “SL” or “SI”, so I’m 99% certain this is Seychelles Customs. I would, as always, welcome any comments - especially if there is a flaw in my logic I haven’t spotted. Thanks for looking Graham
