Default Help needed

I picked this up at an estate auction and can't find any info on them. Can anyone direct me to someone for more info. Its dated 1932 on the back and there are 102 bars mounted. Note the Victoria Cross.

Brad

Hi Brad

Its looks like to me a board which would have been on display in a Military Tailors shop, showing the Ribbons of the medals that you could have fitted to your uniform.

If you have a copy of a medal year book there is a section of all ribbons issued up to now to use as a reference guide.

Hope this helps
Paul.

Perhaps not even necessarily from a tailor's shop. I am sure that there must be people out there who would be content to collect ribbon samples rather than medals.

I can imagine this being such a person's collection put together as a display.... just as others display badges....and very well done, too, I must say.

I likewise have similar ribbons frames, both British and foreign, but which I compiled myself. They make a colourful wall display and a talking point.
The internet has a boundless wealth of knowledge on the subject and even a simple search under "medal ribbons charts" will inundate you. Go to "Images" and enjoy!
I have an uncaptioned ribbon awaiting i.d. and I think I spotted it in your fourth thumbnail, albeit the caption is partly illegible. I am referring to the bottom left ribbon (watered blue with white edges) next to the King's Police Medal. Appreciate if you can confirm the caption please.
Thanks
GTB

Thank you for the responses so far and yes it looks great in my bunker on the wall. The ribbon in question is labelled Edward Medal hope this helps.
