Looking For These A/A Badges
Hi Guys,
The following anodised aluminium badges were officially authorised for issue. However, being manufactured is another thing altogether. Can anyone supply images of the following: 1) South Lancashire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Volunteers) (Small) 2) Saint Andrews University O.T.C. (This is the QC version not the KC UTC badge) 3) Cambridge University U.T.C. Also, I would like to see the lugs used on the following badges that were both officially authorised and manufactured for issue: 1) Royal Army Service Corps (Tudor) 2) Queen's Gurkha Signals (One Part) 3) Malay Regiment Also, I would like to see the sliders used on: 1) Lancashire Fusiliers 2) War Department Constabulary If anyone has any of the above then please post images here. For lugged badges then can the image be made of the lug from a downward, 45 degree angle - sliders, usual straight on reverse shot. Regards Chris Last edited by hagwalther; 21-03-10 at 07:00 AM. |

That is not right as Ammo UK was a 1990s company which made repro badges.

I don't think your badge is Ano Aluminium, AMMO made/make very bright metal badges (I know aluminium is a metal)! Andy |

I think Saint Andrews UTC joined what is now Tayforth.
Are you sure that its not a St Andrews badge with tudor crown but with the scroll reading Saint Andrews OTC rather than UTC that you are looking for Chris ? That rings more bells than a QC version of the badge. |

The Tudor UTC badge is pretty common and the QC OTC did replace it 'on paper' but I don't believe it was ever manuafactured. Just need to check that there are no St. Andrews QC OTC badges out there. Regards Chris |
