Default FAFL

Hello

FAFL was for FORCE AÉRIENNE FRANCAISE LIBRE - Free french air force ;

During WWII from 1940 (on the paper) / 1941 (in the sky !) to 1943 - then amalgamated in the ''Armée française de la Libération''

There were in fact 3 badges of free French : one for each arms - Ground, Navy and Air ;

After the war, these badges were a sign of recognition for real fighters of the very beginning of the Resistance.

All the best.
