Hi Griff,

Yes a grand year. What were your two 'bucket list' acquisitions?

As for myself and in my fiftieth year, I got a couple of new collections started that I'm thoroughly enjoying; HM silver badges and Canadian badges, the latter of which was totally unexpected, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless.

Cheers, Roy.

Did not have a bucket list however I have been able to ferret out some nice British and Commonwealth insignia over the past year. Mainly cloth items. The hunt for good pieces here in the U. S. Is a challenge but rewarding.

Big thanks to everyone here that have helped me over the past year figuring out what to look for and what is good and what is not.

These two, both Great War. The shoulder title is 1908-16 and the cap badge is 1916-22.

My best so far this year is the Welsh VB glengarry on the glengarry, though I have picked up some other good items, but nothing beats this.

Hi Gents,

Really lovely badges all around, well done and thanks for sharing.

If collectors continue to share some of their favorite badge finds from this year we could have some real 'eye-candy' here

Cheers, Roy.

Thanks Griff. I also picked up a 2nd Bn Mons cap with badge still on it, which until the Welsh glengarry was the best of the year. The Mons badge on its own is nothing special but on the cap makes it pretty good.
