Default Enemy Aliens - Independent Labour Companies - What insignia

Can anyone tell me what insignia the enemy aliens of the Middlesex Regiment wore? The 30th and 31st Battalion men.

Was it the standard Middlesex Regiment badge, or perhaps the economy on the cap?

Were brass or cloth shoulder titles worn?

Were there any distinguishing cloth insignia to identify them as enemy aliens worn when the ILCs were in France?

The ILC's did not join the Labour Corps, so am I to assume no Labour Corps insignia was worn at all?

Interesting topic Thank you in advance for all your insight.

Well, I'm looking forward to reading. Never heard of the enemy aliens battalions of the Middlesex.

Simon.

Most people haven't. Their claim to fame was back in April on the Antiques Roadshow when a collector of memorial plaques gave a brief history of the Battalions. Rather interesting and a real novelty for sure.

They called them "The Kaiser's Own".
