Unknown Metal senior Rates Cap Badges

So, I picked these ones up a few years back. They where identified as Royal Australian Navy (RAN). I posted them in the RAN section of the forum, but received no reply.

Given the lack of response, I was wondering if they were perhaps Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) instead?

I thought these were australian too. RCN had those terrible shiny thread, cap badges at one time.
