That works, though the Stones version can't be beaten if paired with Vietnam War gunship footage.

Well, I've just finished building my pub in my man-cave, so anybody ever down in Durban, feel free to drop in for a pint (or 10)... Still got to put up badges and memorabilia, lots to do!
Cheers,
Alex

I like that, I need a dedicated bar like that, that is going to look so good with militaria added. Cam. net, parachute canopy draped from the ceiling?
I keep moving booze around because I can't make up my mind how to make best use of available space for beer & bourbon, militaria, man cave souvenir type stuff, diy tools.
At the moment its just bourbon on the bar / work bench & bottled strong dark beers on shelves in a corner, everything else elsewhere.
A major drawback to alcohol fuelled bad behaviour is the laminate flooring, spillages will ruin it.
You seem a bit short on beer - or is it all under the bar?

Yes, fridge is under the bar, within easy reach of my perch. And when I fall off the bar-stool, it'll be easier to reach...

At the moment I'm hypnotized by the human metronome in this video, I stumbled across it searching for "Kosheen".

I don't need the audio on this, I find watching her quite........... relaxing...........

Something soft to land on rather than tiles?
I thought of putting fridges under my bar / bench but they probably wouldn't do the laminate any good & I'd have no where to put the tools.
Did you make the stools as well, they co-ordinate nicely, not that co-ordination is a criteria of bars in man caves for manly men doing manly things.

No only tiles, just have to make sure I land on my head so as not to cause injury...
Yes, the bar-stools were made by the same guy who supplied the wood. I just gave to chap all the dimensions of the wood I wanted, which he cut for me. I then had a couple of fun afternoons with my adult size lego set putting it all together

I've still a way to go with my bar & the man cave in general, more shelving, book cases & lights I still need to have adapted for mounting on the wall.
I need a proper, dedicated bar along the lines of yours, I may get around to cobbling together an inferior version in the garden.

Nope, got a shed is full of ex's crap waiting to be shifted at some point. I have no bar. I could put a bar in, but a bar for one would make me seem something of a lush? Oooh must measure the RSF bomb...just remembered.
