Default Scout Brassard WW1 C.E.F.

The 54th Kootenay Battalion 5 button tunic with a scout brassard. WW1 C.E.F.

Does anyone have or know of an original photograph showing a scout brassard being worn?

Default 47th Battalion Scouts

There are a bunch of scouts heading home on-board ship in this 47th Battalion photograph from my collection.

Ed do you know of any published or unpublished source which mention the Scout Brassards of the CEF?

There is a mention of a scout specialist "badge", which was an unspecified colour, to be worn 1 inch below the division patch. In the same "order" specialist badges were listed for runners (red band, 2 inches wide) and bombers (green band, 2 inches wide). HQ 1 Cdn Div 5 Sept 1916.
