Default 6 Field Force

I very much regret I didn't date this information when I obtained it c 1990, but an expert (54 Bty) will be able to date it approximately by the mention of 4 Fd Regt RA in 6 Fd Force.

Thanks very much - that probably links in with the RA flash - two pieces of cotton stitched together - I was given when in Belize 1980-82. But in that case the donor said it was worn by 88 (Arracan) Fd Bty RA. Could one have succeeded the other "in role"? Mike

4th Regt RA moved to Aldershot to support the Airborne Forces from 1977 to 1984, for some reason only 29 Bty RA are on the ORBAT for 6 Fd Force. Of course I could have miss read the document, it was a long time ago. The role was 'Air Portable' not 'Airborne' However all the OP parties were Para trained.

Further to this information, does anyone have a genuine example of the DZ flash worn by Depot PARA and AB Forces (light blue and maroon)? Mike
