I would appreciate an opinion on the following two badges (pictures attached)

I purchased them a few years ago but I am now looking to sell them. They came from reputable sellers but I am looking for confirmation before I list them.

Hi John,

They certainly look original to me. I have off line noted them to fellow Forum member, Expat Yeoman who is a very knowledgeable collector and researcher of all things Essex badges and he agrees. He adds that the original blackening was either never applied or worn off.
