Default NEW Maker LYPAO ORs 1922-28

Hi All

This gem turned up today. I have been to see the collection of a late Leics Yeo collector and in amongst some normal fair was this Other Ranks White metal with crimped slider. its a small slider and .... that crimp mark is familiar? The Wm collar is something I attributed to an officers type 1908-28 .... but it now looks like its the ORs collar (or looped cap badge) to the cap badge with slider.

... thanks Bess.

I am building up a new page here https://www.paoyeomanry.org.uk/LY192228Badge.htm for the new find. I have the looped N/S version that could either be a cap or collar. The pattern card describes the white metal version as "12 Gauge German Silver" (Leics Yeo badge Patt 3620/1922). I have dubbed it "Type 2" on the main page here https://www.paoyeomanry.org.uk/LY191628Badge.htm, the hyperlink is on the "Type 2" to go to that new page.

Always something turns up in this hobby that you're unaware of, I love it when that happens.
Good find Griff well done.
