Trooping of the colours

Lucky you, in 2004 we were given tickets at the Guards Museum for the main rehearsal....sadly, we could not attend as we had plans to be in Hampshire on the day of the rehearsal. Will always regret that lost opportunity! Brian |

Isnt it just one colour that is trooped ?

Does anyone know what the Senior Drum Major was wearing just below his waist on his left side. It was a large round badge of some sort rather like a Plaid Brooch ?
