d-day timeline on ch4

hi all,

just been watching the d-day timeline prog for the 5 & 6 june on ch4 on demand.i thought it was very interesting with some great actual footage,imagine the guy sitting for years looking at the footage working out the actual time of day when a picture or footage was taken.thats dedication


i was working yesterday with some young offenders doing community service and at a break they were on their mobiles and some of them had messages,from 02 i think,saying something about d-day.

some of them asked *what the fu*k is d-day 6 june all about" i tried to explain but got blank looks, like talking to a brick wall and a cpl of "so what,it happened 60yrs ago,who gives a toss"

after that i just gave up,i was wasting my time,hopefully in time they will understand but i doubt it
