Default Dealers on Ebay

Hi all, can I enquire on a dealer “Wandsbutcher” he lists his badges as a genuine badge or sometimes badge just listed without this, but where badge is a “Copy” this is listed within the description!

Just wanted to make sure he is one of the good one,s?

Have we a place the Forum where such information is kept? or could this be against “Human Rights”?

Many thanks Billy

Thanks so much lads didnt put the site to Warren, and agree wholeheartedly to your views, excellent repairs to badges! Does Warren do Stratford fair? Trying to put a face to the name and am thinking of a dealer but probably wrong person, many thanks to you all, have bought Two badges which are commonly faked and feel a lot more confident on authenticity from all your comments, many thanks Billy

Default Warren Butcher

Several years ago I was looking at a Victorian/Edwardian POW Yorkshire cap badge Warren had for sale at Bedford arms fair, I picked it up, looked at it and spoke of it's qualities to Warren.

For some unknown reason I put it down on the table and turned my back, possibly to speak with someone who spoke to me and when I turned around someone else had bought it.

I asked the purchaser why he'd bought it and he said "I was listening to you and Warren talking about it"

Enough said . . !

However I bought a 1916 issue Northamptonshire Regt cap badge with the early Regimental castle off Warren, so not too bad.

Buy with confidence.

Rob
