Default Middlesex 24 RV FSC

Hi gents,

I was lucky enough to land a Middlesex RV FSC badge this week to add to my recent good fortune with my 5 LRB FSC badge and my adventure with the RE Militia badges that some may have seen.

I'm very happy with this one as it and my 8th London PO Rifles are a nice link between my two current main areas of interest, Being The Rifle Brigade and the Royal Engineers.

The Middlesex badge does have a lug missing at present so I'll be posting it off to Dave C tomorrow morning along with my 3 VB Hants shoulder title and hopefully he'll be able to work his magic on them.

I'll look forward to posting the results if he is successful, unless of course Dave can't resist and does it for me, anyway, not wishing to tempt fate I'll wait with fingers crossed to see how they turn out.

Regards to all

Ry

Another nice one, Ry. Do you have the missing lug?

Hi Peter,

If only.

The remaining lug is of a very light gauge and of a shape that I would normally be inclined to regard as that from a collar badge given its flattened top.

Over to Dave on this one, It maybe better all round to replace both lugs but I'll leave that up to his discretion.

Thank you for the compliment though Peter, another one I'm pleased to have acquired.

As my interest continues to grow so does the temptation to go further with the Vols badges.
There are several avenues that I would like to persue as time availability and finances allow.

Every time I tell myself thats enough for now along comes another desirable badge, I do consider this one to be a bargain though, so not so bad.

Kind regards

Ry
