The only two 2KEH badges I have.
The one missing what I assume was a slider is a nicely struck, thick, heavy item but seems to be more of an officer's OSD bronzed quality item than an OR's slidered. If genuine, would it be a pagri badge? |

The regiment existed for 3 years in UK and France so it's not a pagri bagde.

KEH & 2KEH buttons
Hi Frank,
My KEH buttons are unmarked or if marked they are Hobson’s & Sons or Jennens & Co whilst my 2KEH being Armfield Birmingham. Are you aware of other makers? Cheers Dean

Thanks Dean, just wondered, Armfield was a good maker, you have to be very careful these days with all the spurious rubbish around.

I am not convinced your first 2KEH badge is an OSD version sorry Leigh. I think it is an ORs badge. Both of my OSD ones had blades, one now replaced with loops, cheers Dean

Indeed Frank - I research them for the website as majority of what I see are copies, reverse of a pair of 2KEH tunic breast buttons, cheers Dean

Thanks Dean, it is annoying to see things that once could just be bought without any question of them being in any way spurious whatsoever.
It certainly pays dividends to exercise a degree of caution these days before parting with hard earned money. |
