Default Should I stay or should I go now ???

Hello All,

My next stop is gonna be Germany at the end of May into June, so I'll be absent for a little while as I'm going to a Regimental Reunion. This is not good, cos much money is wasted in the persuit of excellent alcohol and long lost youth .........

My other half (Theresa) has had me on a tight leash for the past month or two, ........... saving

I hope to be back in UK sometime after this event, ............ hopefully (and not in jail)
This is an important event for us guy's as it is most probably the last time we will all meet in Germany, as the BAOR/BFG will be returning to the UK soon after.

With luck, I'll be able to spend my money on more important things like badges and stuff, when (IF) I return safely, and not waste it all on lawyers fees to get back

My bestest wishes to all you dealers for a profitable month, without my support.

To my "Friend" (your name is safe) and aquaintances "I hope you will all get by without my great war stories, and little knowledge whilst I'm away".

Hi Ken,

I for one hope that you have a great trip back to the Fatherland (BAOR) I and I’m sure a few others will be with you at least in spirit with our memories of the good old days.
I trust that the Germans will manage to keep up with the necessary production of the Beer that will be required for your reunion and I’m sure that your long lost youth will be regained if you persevere, If all else fails the “Asbach” will do the trick mate, that brings back memories of extended lunchtime sessions in the Screws Mess for me (Happy Days)!

Have a good one.

Regards

Ry

"The dreaded "Bottle of ASBACH" Maybe I shouldn't go

Naaaaaaa !!! I'll be OK, I'm an adult now, .......... and all grown up

I'll be OK, I've got Theresa to look after me now, ............... I think, so long as she doesn't go shopping for pressies
(What if she does ??? what'll I do ??)

Thanks for that Ry, but I'm still going, ..........

Ken,

If you need a reliable minder I'll send the wife with you- she has no money for shopping or drinking as I spent it all at Bedford yesterday. On second thoughts, I'll come instead and it'll keep me out of her wrath for a bit longer...

Stephen.

PS- for those of you who know Helen you'll realise I'm joking.
PPS- those of you who know me and Helen will realise I had to write the PS.

Hahaha hiya Stephen, ......... oh and Helen (giggle)

I completely understand both the PS & PPS, as my Theresa has the same care and thoughtfulness of our bank balance as well. but unfortunately I was given the ultimatum prior to leaving the car at Farnham, just to ensure there was no ambiguity in the threats she left me.
