MADE IN GT. BRITAIN

Hi, has anyone seen in there day's badge collecting Scottish Badges stamped with MADE IN GT BRITAIN on the back.

I have never seen a badge with slider stamped MADE IN GT BRITAIN. .
But in the good old days, before the EEC etc. a lot of products produced in Scotland were marked MADE IN GT BRITAIN. They could not, and did not want to, describe them as 'Made in England' but did not want them mistaken for imports.
Badges made in Scotland may have been marked this way.
This was at a time when British manufacturing was a world leader and German and Chinese products were considered inferior copies.

Hi Eddie, this is what prompted my question. I was just curious and was wondering what period of manufacture these stamped one's were from.
