Default unknown badge
anyone know this one.its from the gaunts sale so could be military but possibly not.its silver plated.

Sounds like a belt buckle, cross belt or pouch fitting. Central/Coventry/Clapham/Chester... Fire Brigade???

i think the middle letter is a 't' in the french font.

to me the letters read C J B. Couldn't it just be someone's initials for an unknown private purpose (cigar box etc.)?
