Default BELGIAN?

I think these are Belgian, what do you think. I've seen this crown before.

Simon.

Hey Longshanks,

Belgian indeed. 1st pic left hand side are RASC, crossed cannons Field Artillery, right hand eagle is Spanish Army.

Hope this helps

Bill

Rossignoli's book on post WW2 army badges shows many of them. The crossed cannons are definitely artillery. I also have one of them, picked up in Regina, Saskatchewan of all places. David

I think the odd one out is the highly corroded Eagle, which is Spanish. I believe it to be Franco period.

the Spanish one seems to have a crown. Then it cannot be Franco period, but before or after. The button at the right looks like US cavalry/armoured units, worn on the lapel.

A constant source of confusions amongst collectors and even the current Spanish military. I'll put this to bed.

hi Jibba Jabba, I can see that you're right and I'm wrong. How can you see then that the badge is of the Franco area?
