Default VICTORIAN BADGE?

Hi, anyone got an idea on this one. It's in stirling, marked at rear. Just couldn't put my finger on what it is for.

Thanks

The cypher AR and crown would seem to be that of Queen Adelaide (spouse of William IV) which features in the cap badge but with a scroll below of the Queen's Own Oxfordshire Hussars (K&K1462).
It could be (depending on size) a fitting from a pouch?

Thanks chap's, dependable as always. I don't think it;s an add to the collection. Unless you think it's rare enough to pick up for 10 pound

The collar dogs are scroll-less. We've been asked to remake them for a current RLC Reserve unit squadron affiliation.
